Assam direct recruitment 2022 study material | Syllabus | Book

Govt. of Assam is going to conduct Assam Direct Recruitment Test 2022 for the recruitment of 26441 Grade III & Grade IV Vacancy under various departments. The recruitment process consists of a common written exam along with skill test for each category of posts and accordingly a merit list will be prepared for appointment. The common written examination will be held on 21st and 28th August 2022 for Grade IV & Grade III posts respectively.

State Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC) has already released the official Assam Direct Recruitment syllabus for Class III or Grade III posts.

Selection Process: The selection of candidates for inviting them for interview/ skill test will be in the ratio of 1:2. The candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for computer proficiency test/skill test/interview.

Type of questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

No of questions: 100 MCQs

Total marks: 150 Marks

Date of exam: 28th August 2022

Timing of exam: 10 AM to 12 PM (120 Minutes)

Duration of exam: 2 hours

Class III/ Grade III (Bachelor Degree) Syllabus Details

The Assam Direct Recruitment Class III/ Grade III (Bachelor Degree) Minimum essential qualification of Bachelor Degree and Bachelor Degree with Computer certificate/diploma is as mentioned below.

Total marks: 175 Marks
Date of exam: 28th August 2022.
Timing of exam: 2 PM to 4 PM
Duration of exam: 2 hours

Syllabus of Class IV Recruitment

Class VIII: 9,000 Posts
HSLC: 4,300 Posts

No of exams: There shall be two exams on the same day, one for posts/ categories of posts for read upto Class VIII category and another for posts/categories of posts for HSLC passed or equivalent examination passed category.


Type of questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
No of questions: 135 MCQs
Total marks: 135 marks
Date of exam: 21st August 2022
Timing of exam: 10 AM to 12 PM (Class VIII posts) | 2 PM to 4 PM (Class X posts)
Duration of exam: 2 hours
Negative marking: no negative marking.

Selection Process: The selection of candidates for inviting them for interview/ skill test will be in the ratio of 1:2. Candidates scoring identical marks in the written examination will be invited for appearing in the interview/skill test, irrespective of ratio mentioned as above.

Class IV/ Grade IV Syllabus Details

The syllabus of the examination for recruitment to the Class-IV Posts shall be in consonance with the prescribed SCERT syllabus of Class VIII Examination and Class X (HSLC Examination) for read upto Class VIII category and HSLC passed or equivalent examination passed category respectively.
