Civil Aviation Minister Launches “Fare Se Fursat” – Airfare scheme

India’s Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu Kinjarapu launched the ‘Fare Se Fursat’ scheme, a fresh initiative from Alliance Air, the government-owned regional airline. This program aims to relieve passengers from the stress of fluctuating fares. With a new static fare system in place, travelers can now enjoy the peace of mind that comes with stable ticket prices, even when booking at the last minute. The pilot phase of this scheme will run from October 13 to December 31, 2025, covering select routes to gauge how well it works and how passengers respond.
During the launch, the minister pointed out that this new scheme is in line with the UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Naagrik) mission, which seeks to make air travel more affordable for India’s middle and lower-middle classes. He expressed that this initiative will help make flying more accessible, predictable, and stress-free, especially for those living in smaller cities. The event also featured Civil Aviation Secretary Samir Kumar Sinha, Alliance Air Chairman Amit Kumar, and CEO Rajarshi Sen, all of whom underscored the airline’s ongoing dedication to enhancing regional connectivity.
