First Bodoland Mohotsov to Be Inaugurated by PM in Delhi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the first-ever Bodoland Mohotsov on 15th November at 6:30 PM at the SAI Indira Gandhi Sports Complex in New Delhi. The two-day festival, which will be held on 15th and 16th November, will celebrate the rich culture and heritage of the Bodoland region. The Prime Minister will also address the gathering during the inauguration.

Objectives and Focus Areas

• Cultural Celebration: Focus on language, literature, and culture of the Bodo community.
• Promote Peace: Celebrate the journey of peace post-Bodo Peace Accord of 2020.
• Integration: Aim to integrate the indigenous Bodo people from Bodoland, Assam, West Bengal, Nepal, and border areas of North East India.
• Cultural and Linguistic Heritage: Emphasis on promoting the rich culture, language, and education of the Bodo community and other communities from the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).
