Govt Names Suman Sharma as New Managing Director of SECI

Suman Sharma has been appointed as Managing Director of Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI), a PSU under the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy. She has been appointed to the post at the Joint Secretary level.

The official statement said that the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of the new MD of SECI, a central public sector undertaking under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.

Suman Sharma is an Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer of the 1990 batch.

Sharma has served as the Additional DGFT, Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Department of Commerce.
