About Institute

Indian Institute of Information Technology [IIIT] Dharwad was established as part of the 20 IIITs being set up, funded and managed by the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD). The project is based on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model. A 61-acre main campus is now under construction at Tadasinakoppa village between Hubballi and Dharwad cities. The classes are now held in an IT Park in Huballi with facilities like classrooms, laboratories and library.
