About Institute
Indian Institute of Technology, Patna is one of the eight new IITs established by the government of India under the Act of Indian Parliament. IIT Patna campus is located at Bihta that is approximately 40 km away from Patna. The institute was recognised at the Institute of National Importance by the Government of India. It is a part of the National Knowledge Network (NKN), the network provides a high-speed core networking for all the knowledge related institutions in India to integrate seamlessly all of the scientific community of India.
