National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development

The National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD) is a government agency in New Delhi, India, operating under the Ministry of Women and Children Development. Its mission is to promote voluntary action, research, training, and documentation in the fields of women empowerment and child development across the country. Founded in 1966, the institute has established four Regional Centres located in Guwahati (1978), Bangalore (1980), Lucknow (1982), and Indore (2001). In April 1985, NIPCCD was honored with the Maurice Pate Memorial Award from UNICEF, recognizing its significant contributions to developing services for children, as well as its efforts in training, research, and advocacy.
