S. Kishore appointed as Chairman of Staff Selection Commission: Senior bureaucrat S. Kishore has been elected as Chairman of Staff Selection Commission (SSC). His appointment was approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet. S Kishore is a 1989-Batch IAS officer of the West Bengal cadre.
