The\ninvocation of the EC Act aims to ensure that these products, key for preventing\nthe spread of Covid-19 infection, are available to people at the right price\nand of the right quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/current-affairs-quiz-2019-daily-gk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Daily Current Affairs Quiz 2020<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food &amp; Public\nDistribution has also issued an advisory under the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 to\nensure these items are not sold for more than the Maximum Retail Price (MRP).
