The meaning of Ayurveda is \u2013 Science of Life. The word \u2018pathy\u2019 is associated with many medical systems practiced in the world. It means the method of treating a disease when it occurs. Premium rates of PMJJY and PMSBY revised from June 1<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Finance Ministry has approved hiking the premium rates of Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The premium rates have been revised by making it \u20b91.25 per day premium for both schemes. Revised premium rate for PMJJBY is \u20b9436, earlier it was \u20b9330 and PMSBY hiked from \u20b912 to \u20b920.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Government set a target to\u00a0increase the coverage to 15 crore under PMJJBY and to 37 crore under PMSBY in the next five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Senior IPS Zulfiquar Hasan Becomes the New DG of BCAS<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Senior IPS officer Zulfiquar Hasan has been appointed as the new Director General of the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS). The official order stated that Zulfiquar Hasan has been appointed \u201cfor a tenure up to his superannuation on 31.10.2024\u201d. West Bengal-cadre 1988-batch IPS officer, Zulfiquar Hasan has been serving as the Special Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Delhi. The post of the Director-General, BCAS has been vacant since January 4 after incumbent Nasir Kamal<\/strong> opted for voluntary retirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An order issued by the Centre, following the sanction by the Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC), on Tuesday appointed the 1988-batch Indian Police Service (IPS) officer to the post of Director General of the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security, which has been vacant since the beginning of the year. The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security functions under the Union civil aviation ministry and is tasked with framing security-related protocols for aviation operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A young Indian side produced a gritty performance to beat Japan 1-0 and claimed the bronze medal at Asia Cup men\u2019s hockey 2022 at Jakarta, Indonesia on Wednesday. Indian National Army (INA)\u00a0veteran solider from\u00a0Malaysia, Anjalai Ponnusamy\u00a0has passed away at the age of 102.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was born in 1920 in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur. During World War II when Japanese forces invaded Malaysia, then she joined the army. She belonged to the\u00a0Jhansi Rani Division of the Indian National Army. It was\u00a0created by SC Bose in 1943\u00a0to recapture India from British rule. After the defeat of Japan in World War II, the Indian National Army was disbanded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SBI revises up FY23 economic growth forecast to 7.5%<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

SBI Research has estimated the growth of the Indian economy at 7.5% in 2022-23, an upward revision of 20 basis points from its earlier estimate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the official data, the economy will grow by 8.7% in FY22, net adding \u20b911.8 lakh crore in the year to \u20b9147 lakh crore. Nominal GDP will inflate by \u20b938.6 lakh crore to \u20b9237 lakh crore, or 19.5% annualised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In FY23 also, as inflation remains elevated in the first half, nominal GDP will grow 16.1% to \u20b9275 lakh crore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Govt collects Rs 1.41 lakh crore GST in May 2022<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The government has collected Rs 1,40,885 lakh crore Goods and Services Tax (GST) revenue for the month of May 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

GST revenues has been recorded lower than the record high collection in April at Rs 1.68 lakh crore.
