R Subramaniakumar appointed as MD & CEO of RBL Bank<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

R Subramaniakumar, a veteran banker with over four decades of experience, was on June 11 announced as the new managing director and chief executive officer of RBL Bank. The board of directors has confirmed his appointment as the MD and CEO of the bank for a \u201cperiod of three years\u201d, the private lender informed the stock exchanges. He was appointed the administrator of Dewan Housing Finance Co Ltd<\/strong> after the mortgage financier\u2019s board was superseded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subramaniakumar\u2019s appointment as the RBL Bank chief comes in the backdrop of the bank reporting a net loss of Rs 74.74 crore in FY2022, as against a profit of Rs 50.77 crore in FY2021. As part of the association Ather Energy customers will get instant loans at interest rates as low as 9.55 percent per annum. Pre-approved loans will also be administered, depending on the buyer\u2019s creditworthiness. SBI will offer the vehicle loans on their YONO mobile application as well as at their branch network, as the public sector lender ensures ease of adoption for the buyers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With this collaboration, the\u00a0original equipment manufacturer<\/strong>\u00a0(OEM)\u00a0 aims to accelerate the growth of the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem in the country. The customers, depending on their profiles, will be eligible to avail loans up to 85 percent of the on-road prices of the electric two-wheelers. Customers can avail the loan through YONO at an EMI of as low as Rs 251 per Rs 10,000 under SBI Easy Ride loan.
