Indian- origin T Raja Kumar has been appointed as President of world’s anti-terrorism financing agency, Financial Action Task Force (FATF) for two years (July 2022 -June 2024). He succeeded Dr Marcus Pleyer, who served as the chief of the FATF.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He will be responsible for enhancing the effectiveness of global anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing measures. He has a working experience in home ministry of Singapore and police force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
