The award is given by the Governor of Maharashtra Hon. Bhagat Singh Koshyari<\/strong> at Raj Bhavan, Mumbai. India\u2019s first Monkeypox case reported in Kerala<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\nIndia reported its first monkeypox case on Thursday with the samples of a 35-year-old man which were sent to the National Virology Institute in Pune testing positive for the disease. The man, who is currently admitted to the medical college hospital in Thiruvananthapuram, arrived in Kerala from the UAE a few days ago. His samples were sent to National Virology Institute in Pune<\/strong> which confirmed the disease. It was first found in monkeys in 1958.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\nAccording to the WHO, monkeypox is a viral zoonosis (a virus transmitted to humans from animals) with symptoms similar to those seen in the past in smallpox patients, although it is clinically less severe. It is usually a self-limited disease with symptoms lasting two to four weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paper Import Monitoring System to come into effect from 1 October<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\nPaper Import Monitoring System will come into effect from 1st October 2022, an importer need to provide advance information online about the import of papers and obtain a registration number.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is applicable on import by a Domestic Territory Area unit on a wide range of paper products covering 201 tariff lines, such as newsprint, handmade paper, tissue paper, toilet paper and cartons. The automatic registration number shall remain valid for a period of 75 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
