The government has collected gross GST for July 2022 is \u20b91,48,995 crore, which is the second highest collection ever since the introduction of the Goods and Services Tax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The July 2022 revenue is\u00a028% higher than the revenues in the July 2021 of \u20b91,16,393 crore. CGST is \u20b925,751 crore, SGST is \u20b932,807 crore, IGST is \u20b979,518 crore (including \u20b941,420 crore collected on import of goods) and cess is \u20b910,920 crore (including \u20b9995 crore collected on import of goods).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Commonwealth Games 2022: Indian Team bags gold in Lawn Bowl<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The India lawn bowls team bagged a historic gold medal at the Commonwealth Games on Tuesday, a day after getting the country hooked to the rarely-followed game with their inspiring show. This was the country\u2019s first medal in the lawn bowls event and the team, made of skipper Rupa Rani Tirkey, Lovely Choubey, Pinki and Nayanmoni Saikia, ended up winning the title itself after beating 2018 silver medallists South Africa. The Indian team won against South Africa with a 17-10 victory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the final day game, India had started strong but South Africa produced a brilliant fightback as both the teams were on 10 points after end 12. India have restored the advantage and now have 15 points as compared to South Africa\u2019s 10 after the end of 15. This was also the Indian team\u2019s maiden appearance in the women\u2019s fours format of the finals of the tournament. India beat New Zealand in the semi-finals 16-13.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indian men\u2019s table tennis team clinched the gold medal defeating Singapore 3-1 in the final at the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham on Tuesday. It was another dominant performance by the Indian paddlers. For India, Harmeet Desai and G Sathiyan gave India a great start by registering a win in the doubles match. However, Chew Zhe Yu Clarence won the next game to level Singapore at 1-1. But G Sathiyan and Harmeet Desai ensured India\u2019s gold by winning their respective matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

India has won the gold medal for the second time in a row in the team event of men\u2019s table tennis. Indian men\u2019s table tennis also won the yellow medal in the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. Then the Indian team defeated Nigeria 3-0 in the final match.
