The decision is said to shed remnants of the\u00a0British colony in India.\u00a0The decision came after a special meeting on September 7, convened with the aim of renaming the\u00a0Rajpath and Central Vista lawns.\u00a0 Earlier, the Modi government had changed the name of the road on which the Prime Minister\u2019s residence is, from Race Course Road to Lok Kalyan Marg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/category\/daily-quiz\/daily-quiz-september-2022\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">September 2022 Current Affairs Quiz<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kartavya Path includes the entire avenue and area from the&nbsp;Netaji Statue&nbsp;to the Rashtrapati Bhavan. The route runs from&nbsp;Rashtrapati Bhavan on Raisina Hill through Vijay Chowk&nbsp;and India Gate to National Stadium in Delhi. The decision comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi\u2019s address to the nation on independence day where he stressed the factors leading to the abolition of symbols and signs relating to the colonial mindset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Central Vista Avenue:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Central Vista Avenue is part of the government\u2019s ambitious Central Vista redevelopment project.
