The Government is taking various measures to address the\nissues of seafood exporters wherever feasible. Based on the information\nreceived from concerned agencies, after delisting of 14 establishments by\nEuropean Commission (EC) on account of presence of banned antibiotics in the\nseafood consignments exported to European Union (EU) in 2017 and 2018, Export\nInspection Council (EIC) has been pursuing this issue at various platforms with\nEC who has agreed to permit the sea caught fishery products to begin with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
