It is the eighth World Happiness Report released by the\nUnited Nations. World Happiness Report is a landmark survey of the state of\nglobal happiness that ranks 156 countries by how happy their citizens perceive\nthemselves to be. The World Happiness Report 2020 for the first time ranks\ncities around the world by their subjective well-being and digs more deeply\ninto how the social, urban and natural environments combine to affect our\nhappiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

India ranks 144 in World Happiness Report 2020 while Finland\ngot the top rank. It covers the period of 2017-2019 and analyses the countries\non the following six variables:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  3. Healthy life expectancy<\/li>
  4. Freedom to make life choices<\/li>
  5. Generosity<\/li>
