The\u00a0<strong>Ministry of Civil Aviation<\/strong>\u00a0has described it as a milestone. The airport is 33km northwest of\u00a0<strong>Koraput town<\/strong>\u00a0and 500km southwest of Bhubaneswar. No 727 (E) dated the 4th October, 1994, hereby grants license to, Govt. of Odisha for Jeypore Airport,\u201d read the license.
