Garuda Aerospace, IISc sign MoU for research projects, geographical surveys : <\/strong>Garuda Aerospace\u00a0has signed an MoU with\u00a0the Indian Institute of Science (IISc)\u00a0for\u00a0collaborative research operations and services using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The\u00a0Department of Aerospace Engineering (DoAE)\u00a0at IISC will provide support them for future operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It will provide the development of digital input processing packaging tools, including yield estimation from a specific image, crop diagnostics, and field mapping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to Agnishwar Jayaprakash, Founder and CEO, Garuda Aerospace, the association with IISc is a step towards realising the company’s potential to provide developments of digital input processing packaging tools, including yield estimation from a given image, diagnoses of crops, surveillance and mapping of fields and lands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This partnership will facilitate the collaborative development of new technology related to surveillance applications using drones, that will benefit the farmers, the government and the country as a whole. IISc will provide a central cloud platform for storage of data,” Dr S.N. Omkar, Chief Research Scientist Control and Guidance was quoted as saying in a statement.
