At the&nbsp;Vyasagiri Ashram, where he had resided for the previous 32 years, and later at the&nbsp;Kerala Lalithakala Akademi, his body was held so that members of the public could pay their respects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/category\/daily-quiz\/daily-quiz-november-2022\/\">November 2022 Current Affairs Quiz<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vijayakumar Menon dies at 76: Key Points<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>As per Vijayakumar Menon request, his body was given to the&nbsp;Amala Medical College Hospital.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>According to Amala hospital sources, Vijayakuma Menon had already submitted the necessary papers in 2010 to donate his body for medical research.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan expressed grief over Menon&#8217;s death.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The&nbsp;Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi&nbsp;and&nbsp;Kerala Lalithakala Akademi&nbsp;both expressed their condolences for his passing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About Vijayakumar Menon:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vijayakumar Menon had written numerous works on art and was a professor of art at various universities. Adhunika Kaladarsanam, Ravivarma Padanam, Bharathiya Chitrakala-Irupatham Noottandil, and Bharathiya Lavanya darsanavum Kala Parasparyavum are some of his well-known works. A large number of plays from other languages were translated into Malayalam by Vijayakumar Menon.
