The campaign is launched by the Ministry of Rural Development and involves sensitizing women, especially in rural areas. It seeks to enable women to acknowledge, prepare and take support in situations of compromise. The Union Minister described that the campaign\u2019s focus is women in rural areas. Often, women in rural areas are unaware of the various mechanisms available to raise their concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In his address, the Union Minister highlighted the sensitivity of the issue. He said, \u201cIt is sad that a large number of men and women still consider gender-based violence normal.
