Forbes annual list:<\/strong> The only Indian athlete to rank in the top 25 of Forbes’ annual list of the world’s highest-paid female athletes is badminton superstar PV Sindhu. The silver medalist at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Sindhu, is listed in position twelve. Japanese tennis star Naomi Osaka tops the list. The 27-year-old Sindhu earned $7 million out of her overall earnings of $7.1 million after winning the gold medal in singles and the silver medal in doubles at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham earlier this year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
