Army Chief General Manoj Mukund Naravane has launched\ninitiative ”Operation Namaste” to insulate the 1.3 million strong force from\ncoronavirus infection and extend all possible assistance to the government in\ncontaining the pandemic. The army has set up a command-wise helpline as part of\nmeasures to deal with any possible eventualities arising out of the pandemic. The\narmy has set up 28 service hospitals to deal with coronavirus cases including\ncivilian patients.
