Cordeiro, who was born in Hong Kong in 1924 of Portuguese descent, was recognized by the Guinness Book of Records as the world\u2019s longest-working DJ. After serving as a prison warden and a bank clerk, he began working for Hong Kong&#8217;s national broadcaster in 1960. His \u201cAll the Way With Ray\u201d show of easy listening music was on RTHK Radio 3 for 51 years until his retirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/category\/daily-quiz\/daily-quiz-january-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">January 2023 Current Affairs Quiz<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cordeiro interviewed the Beatles, then the world\u2019s biggest music act, in 1964 following a study course in London with the British Broadcasting Corp. He said John Lennon recounted their early days in Hamburg, Germany, where they lived in relative poverty and played in clubs. Cordeiro became famous after the Beatles interview was broadcast on Hong Kong radio.
