Grammys 2023: List of winners and nominees– <\/strong>At the 65th Grammy Awards, 50 years of hip-hop were celebrated, making Beyonc\u00e9 the most decorated artist in history. Trevor Noah returned to host the ceremony for a third straight time as the evening concluded with Harry Styles taking home the coveted award for album of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When Beyonc\u00e9 received her fourth award of the evening, bringing her total to 32 Grammy Awards, the most in the award’s history, she surpassed the late Hungarian-British conductor Georg Solti, who had already earned the most Grammys of any female artist in history. This year, she also tied the record for most nominations ever after securing nine nods to push her career total to 88 \u2014 a record she now shares with her husband, Jay-Z. Beyonc\u00e9 received nods for major categories like record of the year, song of the year and album of the year, the latter of which she has never won.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The programme on Sunday also included performances by Big Boi, De La Soul, Missy Elliott, Ice-T, Lil Wayne, The Lox, Method Man, Public Enemy, Queen Latifah, and many others in honour of the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. Other artists who performed throughout the evening included Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, Mary J. Blige and Lizzo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Grammys pre-telecast ceremony, during which most of the night’s awards were announced, took place at L.A.’s Nokia Theatre. During that ceremony, Viola Davis picked up an award for best audiobook narration, giving her coveted EGOT status (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony). She is only the 18th person in history to have won all four major entertainment awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
