Asok Kumar,\u00a0has approved\u00a0nine Projects, worth over 1,200 crore rupees for Pollution abatement in Ganga Basin and Ghat Development. Out of these projects,\u00a0seven pertain to the abatement of pollution in the Ganga Basin and two to ghat development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/category\/daily-quiz\/daily-quiz-february-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">February 2023 Current Affairs Quiz<\/a><\/strong><br><br>The decision was taken during the&nbsp;47th meeting of the Executive Committee of the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ministry of Jal Shakti said that under the approved projects various Sewage Treatment Plants and other work will be done to clean the river Ganga, in several States, including West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.
