This event organized in the run up to the International Women\u2019s Day, was to felicitate the exceptional and exemplary work being done at the grassroots level by women in the implementation of Swachh Bharat Mission \u2013 Grameen (SBM-G), Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), Jal Shakti Abhiyan: Catch the Rain (JSA-CTR).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

36 women WASH Champions were conferred with the \u2018Swachh Sujal Shakti Samman 2023\u2019 by the President of India and Union Minister of Jal Shakti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Catch the Rain 2023:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minister of Jal Shakti Sh. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat also launched the Jal Shakti Abhiyan – Catch the Rain 2023 and released the National Water Mission’s (NWM) SoPs on Source Sustainability at the event. Union Minister also presented President with the first copy of the \u2018Swachh Sujal Shakti Ki Abhivyakti\u2019 \u2013 a compendium of case stories from SBM (G), JJM and NWM. The theme is \u2018Source Sustainability for Drinking Water\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Significance of This Mission:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
