The exercise&#8217;s smooth execution reaffirmed the two navies&#8217; interoperability and high level of cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>INS Sahyadri and Maritime Partnership Exercise (MPX):<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>INS Sahyadri is fitted with state-of-the art weapons and sensors, which makes her capable of detecting and neutralising air, surface and sub-surface threats. According to the Defence Ministry, the ship is part of the Indian Navy&#8217;s Eastern Fleet, which is based in Visakhapatnam and is operationally controlled by FOCinC (East).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>INS Sahyadri is indigenously built.
