CCI is a government-owned company that reports to the Ministry of Textile. An order from the Department of Personnel &amp; Training (DoPT) has been issued, stating that Gupta will assume the role of CMD of CCI with immediate effect, for a period of five years or until his superannuation, or until further orders, whichever comes first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/category\/daily-quiz\/daily-quiz-march-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">March 2023 Current Affairs Quiz<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gupta was suggested by the PESB panel for the position of CMD of CCI, and he currently holds the position of Director (Finnane) within the same organisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gupta holds an MBA in Marketing from the ITM Business School in Navi Mumbai, as well as a Chartered Accountant (CA) certification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He is also a member of the Institute of the Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). With significant experience in the Finance and related sectors, Gupta has a lengthy connection with the Cotton Corporation spanning approximately 25 years.
