The satellite would be launched into a Near Equatorial Orbit <strong>(NEO) at 5 degree inclination and 535 km altitude.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The DA-SAR satellite has an Israeli Aerospace Industries (IAI) Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) payload. This enables the DS-SAR to provide all-weather day and night coverage while imaging at 1m resolution using complete polarimetry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Significance:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the DA-SAR satellite is deployed and operational, it will support the support the satellite imagery requirements of various agencies within the Government of Singapore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ST Engineering will use the satellite for multi responsive imagery and geospatial services for their commercial customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About 6 Co-Passengers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" type=\"1\" start=\"1\">\n<li><strong>VELOX-AM<\/strong>, a technology demonstration microsatellite.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Atmospheric Coupling and Dynamics Explorer (ARCADE<\/strong>), an experimental satellite.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>SCOOB-II,<\/strong> a 3U nanosatellite flying a technology demonstrator payload.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>NuLIoN by NuSpace<\/strong>, an advanced 3U nanosatellite enabling seamless IoT connectivity in both urban &amp; remote locations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Galassia-2<\/strong>, a 3U nanosatellite that will be orbiting at low earth orbit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>ORB-12 STRIDER<\/strong>, a satellite developed under an International collaboration.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISRO to launch PSLV-C56 with six co-passenger satellites: ISRO will launch PSLV-C56 with six co-passenger satellites on July 30th at 6:30 a.m. from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre&#8217;s first launch pad in Sriharikota.
