The <strong>junior shooting world championships<\/strong>, in its third edition, saw 90 Indian shooters vie for medals in pistol, rifle and shotgun competitions in the under-21 age category. In this championship,\u00a0India was second on the medals table with six gold, six silver, and five bronze medals.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/daily-current-affairs-and-quiz\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Daily Current Affairs Quiz: July 2023<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>China stayed on top with 12 gold, nine silver, and seven bronze medals. In the women\u2019s free pistol,&nbsp;Tiyana Phogat won the silver, one point behind Khanna Aliyeva of Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abhinav Shaw (10m air rifle men&#8217;s and mixed team) and Kamaljeet (50m pistol men and men&#8217;s team) won two golds each.
