Vingegaard seized control of the race over two stages in the Alps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the Denmark\u2019s Jonas Vingegaard&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jonas Vingegaard Rasmussen (Danish; born 10 December 1996) is a professional cyclist from Denmark who competes for UCI WorldTeam Team Jumbo-Visma. He won the Tour de France in both 2022 and 2023. Vingegaard started as a youth rider for various Danish teams, making his breakthrough as a senior rider as part of UCI Continental team ColoQuick\u2013Cult in 2016. He was known as a physical specimen and broke records in climbs, but still lacked major results on the road.
