Vingegaard crossed the finish line after the 21-day race 7min 29sec ahead of Slovenia\u2019s Tadej Pogacar, the champion in 2020 and 2021.
Vingegaard\u2019s winning margin (7 minutes and 29 seconds) was the largest since 2014.
The tour covers 3,405 kilometres with eight mountain stages across five mountain ranges. Vingegaard seized control of the race over two stages in the Alps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jonas Vingegaard Rasmussen (Danish; born 10 December 1996) is a professional cyclist from Denmark who competes for UCI WorldTeam Team Jumbo-Visma. He won the Tour de France in both 2022 and 2023. Vingegaard started as a youth rider for various Danish teams, making his breakthrough as a senior rider as part of UCI Continental team ColoQuick\u2013Cult in 2016. He was known as a physical specimen and broke records in climbs, but still lacked major results on the road.
