This initiative aimed to evacuate renewable energy power of approximately 4000 MW capacity in the state of Tamil Nadu. The approval for this project was granted by the Ministry of New &amp; Renewable Energy, and it was estimated to cost Rs 7.19 billion. The central government provided a grant of Rs 2.37 billion, which covered 33% of the project cost.
