{"id":161877,"date":"2024-02-10T11:32:50","date_gmt":"2024-02-10T06:02:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/?p=161877"},"modified":"2024-02-10T11:32:53","modified_gmt":"2024-02-10T06:02:53","slug":"dr-jitendra-singh-launches-the-intelligent-grievance-monitoring-system-igms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/dr-jitendra-singh-launches-the-intelligent-grievance-monitoring-system-igms\/","title":{"rendered":"Dr. Jitendra Singh launches the Intelligent Grievance Monitoring System (IGMS)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Dr. Jitendra Singh launches the Intelligent Grievance Monitoring System (IGMS) 2.0 Public Grievance portal and Automated Analysis in Tree Dashboard<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;<strong>29th September 2023<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Dr. Jitendra Singh,<\/strong>&nbsp;the Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions, inaugurated the Special Campaign 3.0 in the&nbsp;<strong>Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This campaign, themed&nbsp;<strong>\u201cDigital DARPG,\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;aimed at enhancing service delivery, utilizing emerging technologies, and ensuring efficient management within government offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Unified Service Portals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Under the<strong>&nbsp;\u201cDigital DARPG\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;initiative,&nbsp;<strong>DARPG<\/strong>&nbsp;initiated a comprehensive approach towards unified service delivery portals. Collaborating with&nbsp;<strong>27<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Senior Officials,<\/strong>&nbsp;including&nbsp;<strong>Right to Service Commissioners from<\/strong>&nbsp;States\/UTs, DARPG identified 164 services for pan-India e-service delivery, in addition to the 56 mandatory e-services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Efforts were focused on promoting faceless and suo-moto service delivery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Jammu &amp; Kashmir, Kerala, and Odisha achieved 100% service saturation through their Unified Service Delivery Portals (e-UNNAT, e-Sevanam, and Odisha One, respectively).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reducing Pendency in Public Grievances<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>DARPG, through its&nbsp;<strong>Special Campaign 3.0,<\/strong>&nbsp;emphasized the timely and qualitative resolution of public grievances.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The 17th Monthly Report on&nbsp;<strong>CPGRAMS,<\/strong>&nbsp;issued on&nbsp;<strong>7th September 2023,<\/strong>&nbsp;highlighted an average grievance redressal time of 19 days across Ministries\/Departments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To further simplify the grievance redressal process, DARPG collaborated with the&nbsp;<strong>Bharat GPT<\/strong>&nbsp;team from&nbsp;<strong>IIT Mumbai<\/strong>&nbsp;to develop India-specific&nbsp;<strong>Large Language Models (LLM)<\/strong>&nbsp;powered by&nbsp;<strong>Bhashini.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Efficient Record Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>DARPG\u2019s commitment to efficient record management was evident through its rigorous review process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>During the first week of the campaign,&nbsp;<strong>100%<\/strong>&nbsp;of the files were reviewed, leading to the identification of&nbsp;<strong>447<\/strong>&nbsp;physical files for disposal, out of which&nbsp;<strong>140<\/strong>&nbsp;were successfully removed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Additionally, 1<strong>317 e-files<\/strong>&nbsp;were identified for closure, all of which were successfully closed using the&nbsp;<strong>e-Office platform.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Adoption of Emerging Technologies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Special Campaign 3.0 also saw DARPG embracing emerging technologies such as&nbsp;<strong>Artificial Intelligence (AI)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A non-disclosure agreement was signed with the&nbsp;<strong>Bharat GPT<\/strong>&nbsp;team to create a demonstrable large language model for&nbsp;<strong>CPGRAMS.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This initiative aimed to enhance the efficiency of citizen grievance redressal in CPGRAMS, promising a more streamlined and user-friendly experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Jitendra Singh launches the Intelligent Grievance Monitoring System (IGMS) 2.0 Public Grievance portal and Automated Analysis in Tree Dashboard On&nbsp;29th September 2023,&nbsp;Dr. Jitendra Singh,&nbsp;the Minister of State for Personnel, Public Grievances, and Pensions, inaugurated the Special Campaign 3.0 in the&nbsp;Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG).
