Dayapar Wind stands out as the<b>\u00a0first capacity in India<\/b>\u00a0to be declared commercial under the new\u00a0<b>Indian Electricity Grid Code<\/b>\u00a0and General Network Access Regime.Expanding the Renewable Energy PortfolioThe commissioning of Dayapar Wind is just the first step in NTPC REL\u2019s ambitious growth plan. Currently, the company has\u00a0<b>15 other renewable energy projects<\/b>\u00a0under various stages of execution, with a\u00a0<b>combined capacity of 6,210 MW<\/b>. These projects promise to significantly enhance the renewable energy capacity of NTPC Group.Augmenting the Wind PortfolioIn addition to the 50 MW Dayapar project, NTPC REL\u2019s wind portfolio is set to receive a substantial boost with the\u00a0<b>Dayapar Wind Complex<\/b>. Once fully commissioned, this complex will\u00a0<b>add an additional 450 MW<\/b>\u00a0to NTPC\u2019s existing wind capacity of 100 MW, strengthening the company\u2019s presence in the wind energy sector.Investing in Green Hydrogen TechnologiesNTPC REL is not limiting its efforts to wind and solar energy. The company is also venturing into\u00a0<b>green hydrogen technologies<\/b>, recognizing the growing importance of hydrogen as a clean energy source. Using the microgrid principle, NTPC REL is setting up a<b>\u00a0large green hydrogen capacity<\/b>\u00a0<b>in Ladakh<\/b>, further contributing to India\u2019s sustainable energy future.NTPC Green Energy Ltd. (NGEL)As another wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC, NGEL has been actively contributing to NTPC Group\u2019s renewable energy capacity.
