Chandrababu Naidu has been sworn in for his fourth term as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The oath-taking ceremony, held near Gannavaram Airport in Kesarapalli on the outskirts of Vijayawada, saw the attendance of key figures including PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Emotional Vow After Derogatory Remarks<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In a significant moment in 2021, Naidu had publicly shed tears for the first time after&nbsp;<strong>derogatory remarks<\/strong>&nbsp;were made against his wife by&nbsp;<strong>YSR Congress Party (YSRCP)<\/strong>&nbsp;leaders, prompting him to take a solemn vow to return to the Assembly only as&nbsp;<strong>Chief Minister<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Naidu\u2019s Political Journey and Return to Power<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Chandrababu Naidu took oath as the CM of Andhra Pradesh. After taking oath, AP CM&nbsp;<strong>hugged PM Modi<\/strong>&nbsp;at the stage. Followed by Chandrababu Naidu,&nbsp;<strong>JanaSena<\/strong>&nbsp;leader&nbsp;<strong>Pawan Kalyan<\/strong>&nbsp;and Naidu\u2019s son&nbsp;<strong>Nara Lokesh<\/strong>&nbsp;also took oath as&nbsp;<strong>council of Ministers<\/strong>&nbsp;in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Naidu first became the Chief Minister of the then undivided Andhra Pradesh in&nbsp;<strong>1995<\/strong>, serving&nbsp;<strong>two consecutive terms<\/strong>. In&nbsp;<strong>2014<\/strong>, he became the first Chief Minister of the newly bifurcated Andhra Pradesh, holding office until&nbsp;<strong>2019<\/strong>. His return to power follows a&nbsp;<strong>landslide victory<\/strong>&nbsp;in the&nbsp;<strong>2024 elections<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">NDA Alliance\u2019s Resounding Victory<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>NDA alliance<\/strong>&nbsp;in Andhra Pradesh, comprising the&nbsp;<strong>TDP<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>BJP<\/strong>, and&nbsp;<strong>Janasena<\/strong>, achieved a substantial&nbsp;<strong>majority<\/strong>&nbsp;in the Assembly, securing&nbsp;<strong>164 seats<\/strong>. In the simultaneous&nbsp;<strong>Lok Sabha elections<\/strong>, the alliance captured&nbsp;<strong>21 of the 25 parliamentary constituencies<\/strong>&nbsp;in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Momentous Occasion and Fresh Mandate<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The swearing-in ceremony marked a momentous occasion for Naidu, who had vowed to return as Chief Minister after facing political setbacks.
