{"id":168112,"date":"2024-09-24T11:43:29","date_gmt":"2024-09-24T06:13:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/?p=168112"},"modified":"2024-09-24T11:43:47","modified_gmt":"2024-09-24T06:13:47","slug":"ladki-bahin-yojana-today-for-1-crore-women-eligibility-benefits","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gkseries.com\/blog\/ladki-bahin-yojana-today-for-1-crore-women-eligibility-benefits\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2019Ladki Bahin Yojana\u2019 Today For 1 crore Women; Eligibility, Benefits"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government is set to officially launch the \u2018Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana\u2019 today on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.&nbsp;This initiative aims to provide \u20b91500 every month to more than one crore women across the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ladki Bahin Yojana<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Maharashtra Chief Minister<\/strong>&nbsp;will roll out&nbsp;the&nbsp;<strong>\u2018Ladki Bahin<\/strong>\u2018 scheme modelled on the lines of Madhya Pradesh\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>\u2018Ladli Behna Yojana.<\/strong>&nbsp;The Chief Minister has guaranteed that their version of the scheme will not be temporary but will continue indefinitely. Associating the scheme with the&nbsp;<strong>upcoming Raksha Bandhan festival<\/strong>, Eknath Shinde said that the scheme aims to protect the interests of women in the state through the \u2018Ladki Bahin Yojana.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to apply?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Maharashtra government has launched the&nbsp;<strong>\u2018Nari Shakti Dhoot\u2019<\/strong>&nbsp;application, through which eligible women can apply online. Local administration officials, such as&nbsp;<strong>Anganwadi workers<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>gram sevaks<\/strong>, will assist women in enrolment for the scheme, which has no fee associated with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Eligibility criteria?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Women need to be a permanent resident of the state, in order to be eligible for the scheme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Women in the age group 21 and 65 years are eligible to apply for the scheme.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The flagship scheme is only applicable to women who belong to\u00a0<strong>financially disadvantaged families<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As per the criteria, women from families with less than\u00a0\u20b92.5 lakh household income per annum are eligible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Link link their Aadhar cards to bank accounts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To avoid delays in verification and deposition of financial aid, officials urged the applicants to&nbsp;<strong>link their Aadhar cards to bank accounts.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Benefits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eknath Shinde<\/strong>&nbsp;on August 16&nbsp;said, \u201cI only want to say that we will not only give them&nbsp;<strong>\u20b91,500,<\/strong>&nbsp;we will make them&nbsp;<strong>independent,<\/strong>&nbsp;we will make them&nbsp;<strong>self-reliant.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vision to make self-reliant<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Under the vision of PM Narendra Modi to make women more self-reliant,&nbsp;<strong>self-independent and self-respected<\/strong>, we will provide them more financial assistance through various schemes of the government.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Eknath Shinde-led Maharashtra government is set to officially launch the \u2018Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana\u2019 today on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.&nbsp;This initiative aims to provide \u20b91500 every month to more than one crore women across the state.
