Union Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy launched the PM E-DRIVE Scheme in New Delhi. This initiative will accelerate electric vehicle (EV) adoption and boost domestic innovation. This scheme has been launched with a financial outlay of ten thousand nine hundred crore rupees for two years. 3680 crore rupees have been allocated for e-two-wheelers, e-three-wheelers, e-ambulances, e-trucks, and emerging EVs. 2000 crore has been allocated for installing fast chargers, including various other allocations for electric vehicles.
