The announcement was made by Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav, highlighting another important step in the country\u2019s ongoing mission to protect and maintain its rich biodiversity. With this new designation, Madhya Pradesh now has nine tiger reserves, further establishing its reputation as the \u2018Tiger State\u2019 of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Madhav National Park- Location and Geographic Significance<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The newly designated Madhav Tiger Reserve is situated in the Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh, part of the Gwalior-Chambal region.
