Additionally, Minister of State for Corporate Affairs, Harsh Malhotra, noted that the PMIS App will make it much easier to find internship opportunities across different sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">About the Prime Minister\u2019s Internship Scheme (PMIS)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Prime Minister\u2019s Internship Scheme was introduced in the Union Budget for 2024-25, aiming to create internship opportunities for one crore young people across India\u2019s top 500 companies in the next five years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pilot Project of PMIS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before the full-scale launch, a&nbsp;<strong>pilot project<\/strong>&nbsp;was initiated in&nbsp;<strong>October 2024<\/strong>, targeting&nbsp;<strong>1.25 lakh internship opportunities<\/strong>.
