Operation Kaveri is a rescue operation done by the Indian government through which Indian citizens stuck in the conflict in Sudan in 2023 were taken back to their home country. In total, 4,097 people were brought back home: 3,961 Indian citizens and 136 foreign nationals were brought back home by aircraft and ships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
