The Government of India created this scheme with the intention to make agriculture more remunerative by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Increasing access to quality inputs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reducing the risks for farmers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing the opportunity for entrepreneurship for farmers in agriculture and allied sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Providing the flexibility for the States to frame a scheme and its implementation taking into consideration the local situation, the demands of the market, and needs of the agricultural community<br>RKVY-RAFTAAR objectives: create an agri-business ecosystem, to provide financial assistance to potential agristartups, stimulate innovation and entrepreneurship in agriculture and allied sectors, and to attract youth to agriculture<br><strong>RKVY-RAFTAAR components:<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agri-infrastructure for pre- and post-harvest<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Agri-entrepreneurship to provide financial assistance and incubate startups<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Skill development to empower youth through skill development<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Value chain addition which promotes the production models that underpin farmers income<br><strong>RKVY-RAFTAAR schemes implementation<br><\/strong>There is one implementing Agency under this scheme which is the Department of Agriculture and Farmers&#8217; Welfare (DA&amp;FW).
