What is E-Hansa?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The E-HANSA<\/strong> aircraft, part of the broader HANSA-3 Next Generation (NG)<\/strong> program, is being indigenously developed by the National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL)<\/strong>, Bengaluru \u2014 a CSIR institute. The aircraft is designed to serve as a cost-effective alternative<\/strong> to imported trainer planes, with an estimated cost of Rs 2 crore<\/strong>, nearly half the cost<\/strong> of foreign counterparts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The E-HANSA aligns with India\u2019s green aviation vision<\/strong>, seeking to reduce carbon emissions in aviation and transition towards clean energy<\/strong> usage in aircraft systems.
