in both peacetime and wartime service.<br>This ceremony reflects India\u2019s focus on military recognition, modernization, and border preparedness, especially amid strategic challenges along the LAC with China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Awards Presented<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Param Vishisht Seva Medal (PVSM) \u2013 30 Awardees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>India\u2019s highest peacetime military award for distinguished service of the most exceptional order.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Notable recipients include,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lt Gen Manoj Kumar Katiyar, Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, Vice Admiral Sanjay Jasjit Singh, Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari, among others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Uttam Yudh Seva Medal (UYSM) \u2013 5 Awardees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conferred for distinguished service during conflict or hostilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Notable recipients include,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai, Air Marshal Sujeet Pushpakar Dharkar (Retd), and others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (AVSM) \u2013 57 Awardees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Awarded for high-order distinguished service during peacetime.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Includes a wide range of ranks from
