It is his first major title in two years and an excellent return to form in the Diamond League series demonstrating to the world he reaps a threat as both an Olympic and world champion in the making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Neeraj Chopra&#8217;s win at the Paris Diamond League 2025 is attracting major news headlines in India due to his first-ever Diamond League win since June 2023. He had stiff opposition in the lead-up to this win particularly from Germany&#8217;s Julian Weber who had beaten him in previous competitions. This performance has improved his chances leading into the Zurich Diamond League Finals in August 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Background<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Neeraj Chopra is the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Gold Medallist in Men&#8217;s Javelin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>His last Diamond League win was at Lausanne in June 2023 (87.66m))<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He finished in 8th last place in Paris in 2017 making this win even better<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Final Results Paris Diamond League 2025<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Notable competitors: Keshorn Walcott; Anderson Peters; Julius Yego<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Event Summary<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Neeraj&#8217;s throw of 88.16 metres on his first attempt won him the event.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Neeraj\u2019s other throws included the following 85.10m; three fouls; 82.89m (6th throw).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Julian Weber started the competition with a throw of 87.88m.
