In a significant change for India\u2019s quantum technology ecosystem, Andhra Pradesh will host the country\u2019s first Quantum Computing Valley Amaravati by January, 2026, according to Katamneni Bhaskar, Secretary, ITE&C during a high-level workshop in Vijayawada. The Amaravati Quantum Valley Tech Park will serve as India’s national innovation hub, which complements the objectives of the National Quantum Mission (NQM), and will work with multiple sectors, including healthcare and agri-tech as examples, to positively impact society and industry by deploying quantum technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The announcement of Amaravati Quantum Valley was made during the workshop on Amaravati Quantum Valley held in Vijayawada on June 25, 2025, with a variety of dignitaries in the audience. Top experts including National Quantum Mission Member Anil Prabhakar, the Director of IBM Research India Amit Singhee, and the Principal Director of LTIMindtree A. Vijay Rao participated in the discussions related to the importance of the project for nation-building and international developments in quantum technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
