Designed as a counterpart to the Nijut Moina Asoni for girls, it aims to reduce dropouts and address emerging gender imbalance at the college level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This scheme will provides monthly financial assistance to male students from economically weaker sections (annual family income below \u20b94 lakh) pursuing higher education. It offers \u20b91,000\/month for undergraduate (UG) and \u20b92,000\/month for postgraduate (PG) students for 10 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key highlights of Mukhyamantri Nijut Babu Asoni<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The initiative is linked with other Assam welfare programs like Orunodoi, strengthening household financial security.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It aims to ensure transparency, efficiency, and easy access to government benefits through a digital platform.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The financial assistance under the Scheme will help students to buy stationery, books, and other academic needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students who are enrolled in undergraduate courses will get Rs. 1,000 per month.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students who are enrolled in Post-Graduate courses will get Rs. 2,000 per month.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Government will transfer the Financial Assistance through DBT to ensure transparency and Timely Payment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Assam government has invited applications for the Mukhyamantri Nijut Babu Asoni, a new scheme that provides financial assistance to boys from economically weaker families pursuing higher education.
