It will cost over Rs.87,000 crore a year to the\nexchequer. The government has announced its decision to extend the benefit\nof&nbsp;<strong>Rs.6,000 per year<\/strong>&nbsp;under the&nbsp;<strong>PM-KISAN scheme<\/strong>&nbsp;to\nall&nbsp;<strong>14.5 crore farmers<\/strong>&nbsp;in the country, irrespective of the size of their\nlandholding.&nbsp;<br>\n<br>\n<strong>Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman\nSiddhi:<\/strong><br>\nThe scheme&nbsp;was launched on&nbsp;<strong>24th February 2019<\/strong>&nbsp;in the run-up to the 2019 Parliamentary elections\nin&nbsp;<strong>Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh<\/strong>&nbsp;where the first rounds of installments were paid to\nseveral farmers.&nbsp;<br>\nThe government so far distributed the<strong>&nbsp;first installment to 3.11\ncrore&nbsp;<\/strong>beneficiaries and&nbsp;<strong>second installment to 2.66 crore<\/strong>&nbsp;beneficiaries into their bank accounts through<strong>&nbsp;Direct Benefit Transfer mode.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Union Cabinet&nbsp;has approved the&nbsp;Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Siddhi&nbsp;Scheme.
