\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAccording to the 3rd End of Childhood Index\nGlobal Childhood Report 2019, India ranked 113 in 176 countries with 769 scores\nout of 1000. 
\nThe Index released on May 28, 2019, by ‘Save the\nChildren’, a United Kingdom (13K) based non-profit organization which works for\nchild rights.
\nThe countries are decided on 8 parameters namely\nchild mortality, malnutrition, lack of education, child labor, early marriage,\nadolescent birth, displacement by conflict and child homicide. Scores were out\nof 1000.The country topped Singapore with a score of 989 . 8 European countries\nfigured among the top 10.South Korea at 10th position. The last rank is given\nto the Central African Republic 394

\nIndia ranked fourth and Bhutan (98), Sri Lanka\n(56) and China (36)
\nThe rate of child marriage reduced to 25%
\nThe biggest score witnessed in Latvia and\nEstonia (both up 40 points from 927 to 967) and Lithuania (up 39 points from\n934 to 973)

\nThe top 10 countries at this End of Childhood\nIndex are: 
\n1 -Singapore
\n2- Sweden 
\n3 -Finland 
\n4- Norway 
\n5 – Slovenia 
\n6 – Germany 
\n7 – Ireland
\n8 – Italy
\n9 – South Korea
\n10 – Belgium
