Web is absent on its feet.<br>\n<br>\n<strong>Microhylid genus:<\/strong><br>\nThe frog has been named<strong>&nbsp;Micryletta aishani.&nbsp;<\/strong>It belongs to the&nbsp;<strong>Microhylid genus.<\/strong>&nbsp;The\nfirst known species of the genus was found in<strong>&nbsp;Sumatra, Indonesia.<\/strong>&nbsp;At present, the Microhylid genus has only four\nrecognised species that are commonly known as&nbsp;<strong>paddy frogs.<\/strong><br>\nBut the new frog species that was found on the\nNortheast India was confirmed as a new species after detailed comparison of\nboth DNA and morphology with all previously known species across Southeast and\nEast Asia.
